Post Looking for a Gibson Ripper base - 1970s era
If anyone has a Gibson Ripper Bass from the 1970s in working condition- or if you know of someone or run across one in your travels... please let me know! I'm in the market and must have one. I'd love to buy one from a local seller (so I could play it first).

I would also entertain the notion of purchasing the Gibson Ripper II, but I'd prefer the vintage original.

There was a really nice on one Craigslist only last month, I looked and it's gone now.

I'll keep my eyes open, I know a lot of gear geeks.
