Post Overtaxation Proof #234... [Happy April 15th!]
We're overtaxed in the US, in our states, in our counties and cities.

It can be shown in many, many ways. In this episode, I point you toward government real estate holdings.

The people of the US could be given a HUGE tax holiday of unknown length if the various levels of government would unburden their books of empty land and buildings without purpose. I wouldn't include in those tallies the lands and buildings currently being used or held for a true purpose.

There are buildings which could be sold and perhaps taxed by willing new owners. Delaying their sale only results in maintenance costs or reduced value via decay.

There are lands of no value as wilderness or historical interest sites, which could also be sold, converted and taxed.

Both lands and buildings could alternatively be rented to the benefit local, county, state or national benefit.

The failure in this plan, though, is the government "expansion is good" mindset. If these rentals or sales were to happen, they wouldn't see it as replacement funds in the halls of power. They'd just see it as more to spend.

And over the ashes the stories are told
