Why would Obama say such a dumb thing?

If you want to hear a truly dumb, stupid, clueless person check out the prank on dummy Palin that was done.

The only two people that these guys from Montreal pranked that couldn't figure out if it was a joke have been Britney Spears and Sarah Palin.

"I just love killing those animals. Mmm, mmm, take away life, that is so fun," the faux president tells Palin. She giggles.

When he suggests a hunt by helicopter - an apparent reference to her support for aerial wolf hunts in Alaska -she replies, "We could have a lot of fun together while we're getting work done."

Palin fails to pick up on faulty references to the prime minister of Canada, and diplomatically lets slide a comment alluding to her ill-received claim that her foreign policy acumen stems from Alaska's proximity to Russia.

"You know, we have a lot in common also, because except that from my house I can see Belgium. That's less interesting than you." To which Palin says, "Well, see, we're right next door to different countries that we all need to be working with, yes."

She's unthrilled when the comedian finally fesses up that it's a prank.
Hilarious. She's toast.

Just a random thought - how does she compare to Dan Quayle?

Dan Quayle is certainly better-educated and much more intelligent in general, but was another typical Conservative Republican with a very influential and connected family that got him into the National Guard to avoid Vietnam, just like Bush.

Palin has no business pretending to be qualified for VP, most of the Republican party agrees. At least Quayle had a law degree.

She is a truly stupid person.

palins a better public speaker, but that appears to be her only mark in the plus column on quayle.

I wouldn't go that far, she's annoying at best.
